The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has implemented a new Self-Registration Module on its Tax Administration Solution platform, TaxPro-Max. This new development aims to streamline the registration process for taxpayers, offering convenience and efficiency.
Key Updates:
- Simplified Registration: Taxpayers can now complete registration processes independently, eliminating the need for physical visits and saving valuable time and resources.
- Automatic TIN Assignment: Newly registered corporate/business entities will receive a Tax Identification Number (TIN) automatically upon registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), facilitating seamless integration with FIRS systems.
- Enhanced Efficiency: The introduction of the Self-Registration Module contributes to a more efficient and transparent tax system, aligning with FIRS’ commitment to improving taxpayer experience.
